Shaina Wood (she/her)

Ms. Shaina’s love for the stage began at the young age of 9 when she was awarded Junior Public Speaking Champion at the Optimist Public Oratorical Competition for four consecutive years. Although she excelled in travel hockey, rugby, and baseball, her true passion lay in the dance studio. After dancing competitively, Shaina was thrilled to join the On Stage teaching staff in 2011. She was instantly hooked and quickly found her calling. Shaina has been fully committed to dance education ever since. Witnessing children’s growth and development—both mentally and physically—through dance fuels Ms. Shaina’s passion. Now a full-time dance instructor at On Stage, Shaina is excited to achieve her goal of delivering captivating, positive dance classes and instilling a love for dance in every child she teaches.
