Our Story

Founded in 2000, On Stage Dance Studio quickly established itself as Stratford’s premiere dance studio – we’ve even been voted Stratford’s Best Dance studio nine years running!

Since 2005, On Stage Dance Studio has been under the direction of Meghan Seaman, offering dance instruction of unparalleled quality for girls and boys of all ages and — most of all — a positive, supportive and fun environment both inside class and outside of class. That’s the reason we’re Stratford’s largest dance studio: we’ve proven our reputation as the best of both worlds.Quiteria

Our qualified, experienced instructors are just as passionate about teaching as they are about dancing – we truly want your child to succeed & grow! On Stage Dance Studio places equal emphasis on classic (recreational), intensive, and exam curricula, ensuring your child’s dance education will be exceptional regardless of level or intensity. And our class sizes are limited, so each and every child receives the attention he or she deserves. Yes: we do have boy students too!

Our pedigree is equally impressive: our dancers have gone on to work & study with the National Ballet School of Canada, the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, the School of Alberta Ballet, Ballet Jörgen, Quinte Ballet School of Canada, American Ballet Theatre, York University, George Brown College, Ryerson University, and others.

We are privileged to enjoy tremendous community support and we believe giving back is the right thing to do. We’d love to dance for you at your fundraising or community event! If you know of an organization that could use our support, we’d love to help. Please let them know how to get in touch with us.

We’ve donated our resources to the Huron Perth Children’s Aid Society, Stratford Optimism Place, Emily Murphy Centre, The Danny Project at Romeo Public School, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Gallery Stratford, local sports teams and more.

We believe every child can benefit from the joy that dancing brings. Our “Chance To Dance” scholarship program is available to children who might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience formal dance lessons. Applications are available at the studio.
