Michelle Good (she/her)

Dance Instructor

Michelle is excited to be back with the On Stage Dance family! Michelle has over 26 years of recreational and competitive dance training under her belt. While specializing in Tap, Jazz and Jumps and Turns, Michelle is also trained in Lyrical, Acro, Ballet, and Musical Theatre. Prior to joining On Stage Dance 5 years ago, Michelle was a recreational and competitive dance teacher at Meyerhofer Academy of the Performing Arts for 10 seasons. While her competitive routines are consistently recognized with regional and national overall awards, she is most proud of the achievements her students make in class. Focusing on the development and training of the whole dancer, Michelle firmly believes “dance lessons are life lessons” and every child should be recognized and celebrated for their contributions and passion for dance. Michelle’s students have worked for the Stratford Festival, Charlottetown Festival, Drayton Entertainment and recently two of her students were invited to compete with Team Canada at the International Dance Organizations (IDO) World Tap Championships in Riesa, Germany. While completing an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree at Wilfrid Laurier University, Michelle also co-founded and co-captained the Wilfrid Laurier Competitive Dance Team.  Under her direction, the team won many accolades including BAM Champions, for the highest collective overall mark of the competition. Michelle also places a high priority on continuing her dance education, and is consistently participating in classes, workshops, and seminars to help her become the best teacher she can be for her students. Michelle is excited to share her knowledge and passion for dance with the students of On Stage!
